Culture Comes First
Like a lot of great breweries, Welltown is a product of small-batch homebrewing. We took this love of beer and community and created a welcoming space for killer drinks, huge gatherings, insane events and unforgettable times.
Our Story
Coming Together
Known as the Oil Capital of the World, Tulsa’s origin was driven by oil wells: a well town. Welltown Brewing was sparked by the idea of coming together around a central purpose and that’s what we wanted to create for Tulsa. While our liquid gold may not hold the same value, Welltown’s people, from staff to patrons, are priceless. Our beers will get you through the door, but the company we keep is what will have you coming back.
Downtown Roots
When it came to choosing a location for Welltown, we knew that being in the heart of downtown would root us in the culture and history of Tulsa. When we found our 1902 building, it felt like coming home. The former burlap sack factory was just the right fit. After 15 months of restoring the space, Welltown’s doors opened in June 2018. We've poured up countless pints with pride ever since.
Love of People
Our people mean everything to us. Without our amazing team and incredible customers, Welltown wouldn’t last a day. Our goal is to create a gathering place where friends, family and strangers can come together over a great pint and leave their troubles at the door.
The Brew Crew
A hard-working, long-time team brought together by beer
At Welltown, we pride ourselves on the team we’ve built, with most of our staff being customers first. More than just pretty faces, our bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly so you’ll always feel well taken care of. This small army of passionate people keeps Welltown in action, and we invest in the people that invest in us.
